This tugboat and dolphins were painted to remind me of an adventure I went on just after I was aboard my husbands sea going crane vessel two weeks after we were married in 1993.

In 1989, my wish became reality by following my heart to work for a company that published scientific magazines, journals, and books, American Institute of Physics, AIP, on Long Island, New York. I learned the business from the ground up. Years later with digital art becoming the main-stay, and laptop computers being the workstations, I took a children's book publishing class to become a self-publisher.
