When I learned my family's oral history about my great great grandmother living at one time in Quebec, and becoming familiar with the Cree Native Americans. The stories I heard about were about how the Cree were very capable people who migrated following the seasons and living off the land. I created this picture of a family encampment with the Native American woman waiting for her man-mate to get back from hunting. She is very capable in her own way - keeping camp- providing well for her family.

In 1989, my wish became reality by following my heart to work for a company that published scientific magazines, journals, and books, American Institute of Physics, AIP, on Long Island, New York. I learned the business from the ground up.
