My Father and I had a penchant for salt water fish tanks while I was growing up. We raised sea horses together as a project we could do together. It was a hobby but the times we had together with these interesting sea creatures were wonderful and it made up for all the time he had to be away for business. I painted this in 2001.

In 1989, my wish became reality by following my heart to work for a company that published scientific magazines, journals, and books, American Institute of Physics, AIP, on Long Island, New York. I learned the business from the ground up. Years later with digital art becoming the main-stay, and laptop computers being the workstations, I took a children's book publishing class to become a self-publisher.
