This was painted by me to remember a day when my Mom, my daughter and I went to Stinson Beach June 21, 2001. It was a warm, clear day when the ocean separated itself into two distinct colors. The pelican was very curious of my daughter and seemed to be keeping an eye on her.

In 1989, my wish became reality by following my heart to work for a company that published scientific magazines, journals, and books, American Institute of Physics, AIP, on Long Island, New York. I learned the business from the ground up.
